Laurie Lee’s extraordinary story, told in a captivating weave of music and his own words. Starring Anton Lesser (Game of Thrones, Wolf Hall, Endeavour) and Charlie Hamblett (Killing Eve, Ghosts, The Burning Girls), accompanied by a gorgeous musical programme that weaves around Lee’s writing.
This is an outdoor performance, so please remember the following:
- Bring a chair or picnic blanket to sit on.
- You're welcome to bring a picnic to enjoy - including your favourite tipple!
- We are looking forward to a warm summer evening, but please dress according to the weather. Bringing blankets for extra warmth might be a good idea! In case of heavy rain, we have an alternative indoor location at St. Mary's Church in Painswick.
- The Garden is in a valley with some steep pathways which may pose challenges for those with mobility issues. We advise against using motorised scooters or wheelchairs. Please call us if you would like any further accessibility information: 01452 813204.
